Description
“Stop” pairs a late-’70s-inspired R&B groove with a message that asks you to pause and take stock. Joseph Opare invites listeners to think about the life they’re living, where they’re heading and what comes after this life.
Marking his first collaboration with ProphetiQ, the song puts the rapper’s lead vocal at the centre, bringing fresh energy and urgency to that call for reflection. Touches of rock break through in places before the music settles back into its R&B groove.
It’s a song that moves your feet while giving you something deeper to think about: stop for a moment—where is your life taking you?
