“Count Your Blessings” began as a different song called “He’ll Bring the Sunshine.” Joseph Opare had the music, but the original lyrics didn’t feel quite right. Drawing inspiration from the familiar hymn “Count Your Blessings,” he found a message that fitted the music perfectly.

An R&B dance track with a touch of house influence, it brings fresh energy to that timeless invitation: count your blessings, name them one by one. It’s a call to remember the good in your life, give thanks and let that gratitude move your feet.
